We did an introduction to Byron and Shelley today.  We read and discussed excerpts from Don Juan, “She Walks in Beauty,” and “Apostrophe to the Ocean”.  We are about to start Shelley’s poetry next class.  At the end of the block, we resuscitated the poem we wrote “in tranquility” on a “spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings” from looking at nature.  We will carry on with this project next class.
