Friday, April 21st

We met John Keats today and read and discussed his poems:  “Bright Star” (559), “When I Have Fears That I Might Cease To Be” (559), “On First Looking Into Chapman’s Homer” (558), “Ode to a Nightingale” (575) as read by Benedict Cumberbatch, and “Ode on a Grecian Urn” which we have not discussed yet.

We are now at the end of the Romantic Period, so we will do a review on Wednesday, April 26th and write the test on the Romantic Period on Friday, April 28th.

On May 2nd, we shall have our Victorian Tea Party. Bring your own tea cup and saucer if you can.
